Buses from the Siliguri Tenzing Norgay bus stand directly reach the point. The morning bus leaves at 7 o’clock and takes 4.5 hours to reach the Jhalong Bindu. However, afternoon buses arrive here in the afternoon. You can also get there by renting a jeep from Chalsa.
The Bindu can be reached by road, rail, and air. However, the entire route cannot be reached by rail or air.
By Road:Β Bindu can be reached by road from major cities of West Bengal and neighbouring states. National Highway 27 is close to this area. So Siliguri, Kolkata, and Guwahati travellers can hire a taxi, a private car, or take a government bus to reach Jhalong Bindu.
By Rail: The nearest railway station to Bindu is New Mal Junction. The distance from New Mal Junction to the Bindu Village is about 30 km. So you can reach New Mall Junction from any central railway station in the country
By Air:Β Bagdogra is the nearest airport to Jhalong-Bindu, about 110 km away. Bagdogra is connected to various major airports in the country. One can hire a car from Bagdogra Airport to go directly to Bindu West Bengal.

- Carefully step over the stone and descend into the Jaldhaka River. Across the river is India and Bhutan.
- Bindu has a barrage built on the Jaldhaka River to generate hydroelectricity.
- There is a small market for shopping at Bindu where local Bhutanese sell a variety of treats. Which includes a variety of food items as well as winter items.

On the way to Suntalekhola, there is a tourist spot named Rocky Island along the Murti River. The Murti River comes down through giant boulders, hence the name of this place.

When you come to Suntalay Khola, you must take a separate car from here for sightseeing. You cannot go with the vehicle you hired from Murti or Lataguri. You can go by renting a car from the local syndicate.

The Forest Department Corporation has Suntalay Khola Nature Resort and a river camp. Suntalay Khola has a hanging bridge over the river. Just across the bridge is the nature resort of the West Bengal Forest Department. The distance from where the car is booked is one kilometre to Suntalay Khola. You can walk this distance easily.
“Suntalay khola” means “orange fountain” in the Nepali language. Suntalay means orange, and khola means fountain or river. Once upon a time, there were many orange trees here. Hence, this type of naming.
There was a ropeway from Suntalay Khola to the distant hills during the British period. Later, it slowly decayed due to lack of maintenance. Return to Murti via Samsing
